VACANT SERVICE POSITIONS WITH IN AREAS ASSEMBLY

Regmaker Rep

We are looking for an Regmaker Rep to serve for a 2 year term.

The job entails:

1) Reminding groups and individuals to send in subscriptions to regmaker.

2) Introducing regmaker to those new to the fellowship by means of notices or group visits.

3) Engendering enthusiasm within the fewllowship to ensure that people are inspired to write and send their articles and shares to regmaker for publication.

Alternate Area Delegates for Areas 1, 2A, 2B, 4 & 5

Area Delegates, look after all the groups in their Area, attend national conference as representative of the western Cape and one of the portfolio. The alternate would represent the delegate at Areas when the delegate can not be present and would assist the delegate in maintaining contact with the groups in their area.

Alternate Portfolio holders for Treasurer, Literature, Public Information, & Treatment Facilities Portfolios

Assist with Spreading the Message in Correctional Facilities

A note from Cecil of Correctional Facilities: Correctional Facilities Committee needs members who are more than 2 yrs sober, to volunteer for their team that goes into Pollsmoor on Wednesdays. Contact Cecil: 082 449 2995.

Assist with Spreading the Message in Treatment Facilities

Sharing at Treatment Facilities

Treatment Facilities team always needs new members for shares at treatment facilities or just to support meetings at treatment facilities – Please contact Burt on 0828069459.

Adopt your Local Rehab If you know that there is a rehab or addiction facility in your area and would like to become part of a team that ensures that they have shares, literature, meetings lists etc, – Please contact Burt on 0828069459.

Assist with Spreading the Availability of A.A. Literature

Literature Committee - Volunteers who would like to join the literature committee whose job it is to help educate groups about what literature is available, please call Amy on 021 418 0908.

Help Literature Reach the Alcoholic Who Still Suffers

Adopt a local facility

Adopt a public facility in your area and become responsible for seeing that they have posters up, free A.A. literature available and access to our PIC and CPC teams should they require it.

This body educates professionals about the A.A. and makes A.A. resources such as meetings lists and literature available to these professionals
